A Quarab is a horse that is of solely
Arabian (AHA) and Quarter (AQHA) or
Paint (APHA) Horse blood.

Crosses of 1/8 to 7/8 percentage in favor
of either breed type is allowed.


NO OTHER BLOOD TYPES ARE ALLOWED.

 

 

In 1999 the International QUARAB
Horse Association (IQHA) was formed by
Lisa Striegle as a newsletter association with
a breeder’s referral service...

In 2000, the official stud book for
QUARAB horses was created...

In 2003 the IQHA was incorporated in
the State of Michigan...


Since then it has expanded to
international proportions including:
The Netherlands (2002)
Alaska (2002)
Germany (2004 and 2006)
Italy (2006)
