Q: What benefit does an owner gain by registering their Quarab with the IQHA?
A: While currently the Arabian Registry may offer more "prestige" or name recognition than the IQHA, they will not list and recognize the "other half" of your horses heritage. The AHA does list the other parent & its reg. #, but no pedigree on the non-arab side. If you bred your Quarab to be more than just "a Half-Arab", then you owe it to your horse to have it's FULL heritage recorded and recognized. Quarabs that do not have one purebred Arabian parent are also not eligible for HAHA registration - but if eligible, CAN be registered with the IQHA.
